Andorra Travel

Andorra is a small, mountainous country in the Pyrenees Mountains on the Iberian Peninsula in Western Europe, bordering with France to the north and Spain to the south. Andorra official language is Catalan – Spanish, Portuguese, and French are also common languages.

Andorra became a popular tourist destination in Europe. There are many major ski resorts in Andorra, including the Soldeu / El Tarter and Pal / Arinsal.

1. Vallnord

Vallnord is a Ski & Snowboard resort and it is located in the Pyrenees mountains. The Vallnord has 3 different ski resorts called Arinsal, pal and Ordino-Arcalis which jointly provides skiers an unusual variety of quality skiing. You can also attempt excursions on snow-shoes, go sledding, bungee trampoline and cord park with children or you can enjoy the mountains view with tasks such as tethered rides in a hot-air balloon.

2. Andorra La vella

Andorra Lavella is the capital city of Andorra, having the most popular ski resorts around the city. The old chunk of towns has many small stone houses of ancient Roman style architecture. Andorra Lavella offers medieval era bridge, Romanesque church and there is another church called The church of saint Esteve which is open from July to August.

3. La Cortinada

La Cortinada​

The time taken to reach La Cortinada is just 20 minutes drive from the capital by meadows and rugged mountains. La Cortinada is the place where it has an optimistic Andorran flavor, having Sant Marti church which is most popular.

4. Soldeu

Soldeu is the place where it is famous for some low-cost skiing fun in winter season. The contiguous hills are worth to explore on a hike or biking during cooler months

5. Sorteny Nature Park

Sorteny Nature Park​

Sorteny Nature Park is located near to Ordino and it is most popular for a summer retreat for travelers. Here you can find Chamois, which is belonging to the goat-antelope genus and other wildlife collections in this nature park.
